Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Agriculture, or related field.

A newly developed position – this role will assist in driving our overall marketing efforts by helping with strategic planning, organizing, and planning events, promotions and participation in community events. This position will also create supporting pieces and collateral and help maintain marketing assets.

Position summary and primary responsibilities:

  • Enhance and grow our brand as a community-focused bank that helps meet financial needs by building long-lasting relationships.
  • Create content for both online and printed marketing materials.
  • Monitor and manage all social media content.

Customer Service Representative CSR Supervisor

This position is a leadership role and must collaborate with other departments in the bank to continuously improve service quality, implement and update policies and procedures to achieve high customer satisfaction. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service and the efficient operation of the customer service department within the bank. This position will supervise and provide guidance and support to all customer service representatives and the receptionist. Additionally, this position must serve as a back up to all supervised position; therefore, the CSR Supervisor must understand and be able to carry out all task performed by the Customer Service Department.

Position summary and primary responsibilities:

  • Welcome visitors, customers, and prospects with a warm, approachable, and professional demeanor in a timely manner.
  • Gain a thorough understanding of all customer service representatives’ duties and be able to fill in for all duties as necessary. This includes, but is not limited to:
    • Conducting account transactions with accuracy and efficiency
    • Conducting teller drawer, cash recycler, vault, coin machine, and ATM transactions and daily balancing with appropriate dual controls; ensure all systems are functioning and operating correctly. Fix hardware if possible or schedule service and maintenance calls.
    • Opening and closing all account types with accuracy and efficiency, including trust, estate, and business accounts
    • Understanding health savings account and individual retirement account actions and transactions
    • Completing fraud disputes and providing required paperwork to Operations
    • Assisting with all internet banking requests
    • Cashier checks, debit cards, check ordering, safety deposit box entry, gift and access cards, Elan credit cards, etc.
    • Fed ordering and selling process
    • Supply Ordering
  • Provide guidance to and mentor staff as needed. Assist and answer questions as needed.
  • Assist staff when researching any teller or vault offages.
  • Ensure account documentation is obtained, organized, and stored appropriately by all staff for all customers.
  • Decision daily overdrafts for a portfolio of deposit accounts.
  • Understand service level expectations and complete follow up with customers as applicable.
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities to promote additional banking products and services. Gain a thorough understanding of all the bank’s products and services, including deposit products, loan products, cash management products, and additional services.
  • Understand and adhere to all bank policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to applicable policies and procedures governing account transactions, including the Check Cashing Policy, Check Holds procedures, and customer verification procedures when cashing checks and disbursing funds.
  • Identify and report suspicious activity to the bank’s BSA Officer.
  • Adhere to all banking regulations, policies, and procedures governing customer privacy and confidentiality.
  • Understand appropriate measures for customer identification verification.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area to ensure the safety of negotiable instruments and physical currency.
  • Develop, implement, update, and provide training on policies, procedures, and processes for the department. Prepare and lead departmental meetings.
  • Monitor customer service metrics and implement strategies to improve as necessary.
  • Ensure an adequate stock of all materials is maintained. Specifically, ensure gift and access cards are ordered, monitor cashier check stock, teller tickets, teller envelopes, etc.
  • Receive, address, and escalate customer complaints as necessary.
  • Assist customers with account questions in person and via phone, questions may be more complex and/or require research.
  • Keep detailed records of customer interactions for you and other team members to reference and utilize.
  • Prepare daily schedule, including Saturdays.
  • Interview, hire, discipline, and terminate staff as needed

The Human Resources Specialist plays a critical role in managing and supporting various HR functions, including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This position is responsible for ensuring a positive work environment, fostering employee engagement, community engagement, and implementing HR policies and procedures effectively. The ideal candidate will be a proactive problem-solver with strong people skills and a solid understanding of HR best practices and employment laws.

Human Resources (50%):

  • Recruitment and Onboarding:
    • Collaborate with department managers to identify hiring needs and develop job descriptions.
    • Post job openings and screen resumes.
    • Coordinate the interview process and facilitate communication between candidates and hiring teams.
    • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, including orientation and training.
    • Prepare, track and off board employee terminations.
  • Employee Relations:
    • Serve as a point of contact for employee HR inquiries and concerns.
    • Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a fair and effective manner.
    • Foster a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives and feedback mechanisms.

    • Track employee training and development assigned by their managers.

  • Community Engagement:

    • Manage donation requests and sponsorships and relay information to Market President. Use receptionist as gatekeep and record keeper.

    • Serve as a point of contact for employee and community inquiries.
    • Develop and maintain communication channels to keep employees informed about engagement activities and opportunities.
    • Work closely with marketing and other departments to align engagement efforts with organizational goals.
    • Prepare reports and presentations on engagement activities and outcomes for senior management.
    • Manage and track Donations, Community Involvement, and Training Budgets.
