Business Banker


Position summary and primary responsibilities:

  • Meet with customers to build relationships and help them meet their financial goals through listening and providing solutions that meet their needs
  • Perform all activities related to Business Banking by developing new relationships as well as managing an existing portfolio
  • Grow an existing Commercial loan portfolio and generate fee income while making proactive outbound contacts
  • Cross sell other bank products and services to meet the financial needs of customers and make referrals to other team members as appropriate
  • Provide a “WOW” factor for our customers through exceptional customer service
  • Managing credit risk in a manner consistent with Bank lending policy and practices
  • Properly underwriting, structuring, and documenting commercial loans
  • Maintaining strong working knowledge of bank products and services
  • Representing the Bank through active participation in community events to increase the Bank’s visibility and enhance new business opportunities
  • Meet financial needs by making fast local decisions to develop long lasting relationships

Job Type: Full-Time (Salaried)

Work Location: Alexandria, MN

Qualifications:
  • Motivate and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Teller/Customer Service


Position summary and primary responsibilities:

  • Welcoming all visitors, clients, or prospects with warm, approachable professionalism within reasonable time
  • Opening Accounts
  • Process Deposits, Withdrawals and Loan Payments
  • Maintain a balanced Cash Drawer
  • Order Debit Cards
  • Order Checks
  • Prepare Cashier’s Checks
  • Assist customers with questions regarding their accounts
  • Manage Vaults and ATM
  • Identify referral opportunities
  • Provide a “WOW” factor for our customers

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week) with rotating Saturday shift (4 hours)

Work Location: Alexandria, MN

Qualifications:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
  • Motivated self-starter with attention to detail, organized and the ability to multi-task
  • Strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Clerical, administrative, cash handling, sales or customer service experience preferred
